As A Tester I'm Looking For Web 2.0 Style Software Testing Management Tool- Any Suggestions
Answer:
Hey, no doubt there are many tools available in testing. Even I have tried many tools. Personally I felt to suggest you to try Zephyr, a comprehensive Test Management System with a sharp Defect Tracking feature. It's graphical and very effective in finding, reporting, retesting, verifying and closing defects. And also helps to do testing process easy. You have dashboards and also helps to communicate with each test members effectively.

Performance Test Tools
Loadrunner
Originally by Mercury, now owned by HP. This market leading performance test tool dates back to 1993. It contains a number of sub components;
Vugen: This is used by the performance tester to record and enhance automated test scripts.
Controller: This combines one or more automated test scripts that have been created in Vugen so that an organised workload can be generated.
Injector: Software on local or remote machines communicate with both the controller controlling the test and the target application actually generating the workload.
Analysis This is used to generate graphs that are used to help analyse the performance of the target application and for use in performance test reports
Silk Performer
Originally by Segue Software, now owned by Borland. Regarded by the market as ‘2nd’ behind Loadrunner, many performance testers regard this product as superior in many respects. While being significantly cheaper, it is also easier to use with many different protocols covered.
Rational Performance Tester
Acquired by IBM in for $2.1 Billion (yes, Billion) in 2003, this did include the complete Rational Tool Set.
This tool supports load testing against a broad range of applications such as HTTP, SAP, Siebel, TCP Socket, Citrix and interesting SIP. Few companies still use this tool, in fact, a search of ITJobsWatch for the three months to the 6th March 2009 showed 10 jobs advertised for the keyword ‘Rational Performance Tester’ in Europe. Bizarrely, Rational Performance Tester remains as the most popular performance testing tool in New Zealand.
Compuware's QALoad
This product suffers from a lack of investment which has resulted in some niggling problems which cause difficulty for performance testers. Like Rational, many performance testers love this product. The hope is that Compuware will invest in this old favourite.
Facilita Forecast
This is a nice product which is relatively new to the market. Facilta have in many respects broken ranks from the numerous hordes of free testing tools. This product provides a good solid functionality whilst being more affordable than the market leading products.
TPNS
IBM’s performance testing tool for MVS, OS390 & ZOS. The original performance testing tool, it dates from the 1970’s and is still in occasional use today.
