When the engine dies, pull a plug wire, insert a screwdriver into the wire so it touches the metal cap that fits over the spark plug. Holding onto the plastic handle of the screwdriver, hold the shaft of the screwdriver about 1/4" from something "metal", a brace or such on the engine. Have someone crank the engine and if you're not getting any spark, replace that module.
Make sure the screwdriver is held close to metal - not aluminum or alloy.
